Ina

Ina is an Environmental Engineer with nearly 20 years of experience in the contaminated land industry. She worked in environmental consultancies in Germany and the UK before joining Connolly Environmental in Melbourne in 2007. She has spent most of her career working on audit projects and helping clients navigate the path to CUTEP/CUSFARP in Victoria. She is passionate about developing conceptual site models and site-specific scopes tailored to the requirements of individual projects, big and small. Her technical focus and deep understanding of petroleum and chlorinated hydrocarbons contributed to the successful completion of several multi-year assessment and remediation projects. She enjoys working collaboratively and is a self-confessed data nerd. She frequently attends learning events (e.g. ACLCA , ALGA, Battelle) and has shared her experience as a presenter.

WILL

Will is an Environmental Scientist with over five years of experience in the contaminated land industry. Starting as a university graduate with Connolly Environmental, Will has gained a plethora of experience starting out predominately working in the field to collect contamination data for soil and groundwater, to now project managing a range of projects including preliminary site investigations (PSI) and detailed site investigations (DSI) under Statutory Environmental Audit. Will has worked on a number of projects focusing on the remediation of contaminated soil and enjoys the challenge of finding solutions in the most cost-effective and environmentally conscious manner. He prioritizes efficiency and quality in his work.

PAUL

Paul is one of our Directors and has over 20 years of professional experience in contaminated land environmental consulting. An extensive fieldwork focus in the early stages of Paul's career has provided him with an excellent understanding of field procedures, drilling techniques and knowing what is required to get quality field data. His expertise includes client and project management, contaminated site remediation, and excels at extracting details of what the clients requirements are with projects. He is responsible for overseeing a group of professionals, providing technical direction for both small and major projects.

RICHARD

Richard is an environmental scientist with over six years of experience in the contaminated land industry. He is a project manager involved in all aspects of contaminated site assessment, from project scoping and cost estimating to fieldwork and reporting. He has worked on multiple large scale infrastructure projects, including several level crossing removal projects in Melbourne’s southeastern suburbs. His focus has been on classifying large volumes of soil for offsite disposal, as well as hotspot delineation and removal. He enjoys helping clients navigate the current regulatory framework and helping them to achieve their desired outcomes on time and on budget.

EVA

Eva is an Environmental Engineer with 16 years of experience in the contaminated land industry. Her considerable expertise in soil, groundwater and soil vapour assessments and understanding of Australian and international environmental guidance contributed to the successful completion of numerous statutory environmental audits and other assessment and remediation projects.

Since 2018, Eva has been involved in the preparation of human health risk assessments and vapour intrusion assessments for contaminated sites impacted by petroleum and chlorinated hydrocarbons.

BRYAN

Bryan is our senior driller and has a vast amount of experience drilling geotechnical, environmental and water well drill rigs all over Australia. He has spent a large portion of his career drilling in interesting places such as Nauru, Tonga, the Cook Islands, PNG, the Australian Antarctic Territory and the Maldives so fully understands the challenges that are associated with working in these places so far from civilisation.

MARIANA

Mariana is an Environmental Engineer with seven years of experience in the contaminated land industry. She worked in environmental consultancies in Colombia before joining Connolly Environmental in Melbourne in 2019.

At Connolly, Mariana has gained experience managing small to medium soil assessment projects including preparation of site-specific scopes, liaison with clients, site history assessments, fieldwork, and reporting. She has also been part of more complex groundwater and remediation projects providing support to senior staff, conducting soil, soil vapour and groundwater sampling (including protocols for PFAS contamination) and the associated data management, analysis, and reporting.

Mariana enjoys processing and analysing environmental data and being part of the entire project life cycle, from conception to successful completion.
